100% Cotton Rope Spool - Made in America - 3/16" Solid Braid Rope

This listing is for a 1000 foot spool of The Mountain Thread Company’s signature 3/16” 100% cotton solid braid rope.  This natural cotton rope is custom made in North Carolina, USA for The Mountain Thread Company. It is a specialty construction of rope for coiled rope basketry, made exclusively for The Mountain Thread Company by an American manufacturer.

We recommend the use of a heavy duty needle and a high quality thread for your rope sewing projects.

For coiled rope basketry, please note: this 3/16” rope is the same diameter as the rope found in The Mountain Thread Company’s DIY kits, and can be used interchangeably with kit supplies.
