We’re excited about teaching the Upcycled Quilt Block Basket class in Atlanta!

Here’s some good information to know:

• What’s included in your class materials fee ($15 payable in class with card or cash): 15 yards of The Mountain Thread Company’s 3/16” signature solid braid rope, heirloom quilt block fabric/batting, and pattern. Machines and thread are graciously provided by QC sponsors.

• Optional: bring your own orphan quilt block (minimum 6"x6", up to 10" x 10”) to incorporate in the project- this will be cut down into a circle, so please make sure you bring a block you are OK cutting down. We will be stitching the blocks into rope baskets.

  • As you plan which block to bring, keep in mind that the thread provided in the sewing machine workshop rooms is likely to be a neutral (white, cream, or light gray).

• Bringing your own block is optional, but a fantastic way to personalize your project.

• Baskets shown in the photo are representative of the project concept; actual provided blocks will vary.
